Chrysler Financial Helps Others Make the Effort in Orlando
WHAT: As part of the 2008 Chrysler Financial Orlando Business Meeting, 550 employees from field sales locations and customer contact centers will gather with Hands On Orlando to create a park, paint murals, landscape, install rocking chairs and other park equipment. Employees will ultimately help prepare apartments for occupancy at the Helping Others Make the Effort, Inc. (HOME) campus.

DETAILS: Helping Others Make the Effort, Inc. (HOME) is a community-based nonprofit organization working to comprehensively address the causes and break the cycle of homelessness for women and their children in Osceola County. HOME's 5 acre residential campus provides an intensive transitional housing program at a cost of just $10,000 per year, enabling single mothers and their children to maintain educational and living stability until they become self-sufficient. The program includes comprehensive life skills services, vocational/educational counseling and financial literacy education.
OTHER: Orlando is also home to one of the company’s eight United States Chrysler Financial Business Centers which employs more than 100 finance professionals who serve 500 dealers and their customers throughout the Southeast with a variety of automotive financial services and products and is one of Chrysler’s largest markets in the country.
