Godfather of Hip-Hop Russell Simmons, Hot Hip-Hop and R&B Artists Taking Part in the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Weekend with the "Get Your Money Right" Financial Empowerment Summit in Washington, D.C. on September 29
What: The Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN) is bringing two events to this year's Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) weekend in Washington, D.C., both giving a comprehensive education on fiscal responsibility. A major highlight of this year's CBCF ALC is the Hip-Hop Summit's "Get Your Money Right" Financial Empowerment Summit International Tour.
Now in its third successful year, the Tour brings together the powerful combination of hip-hop stars and Chrysler Financial experts to speak to students and community members about the importance of financial literacy. The topics to be covered include the basics of banking, home ownership, repairing bad credit and understanding credit scores, entrepreneurship and vehicle financing.
Who: Godfather of hip-hop Russell Simmons; D.C.'s own Mya and Tabi Bonney; Questlove from the Roots; platinum selling R&B star, Lyfe Jennings; platinum selling hip-hop star Mike Jones; Belly; Lil Boosie and Bun B of UGK.

The Board Room Executive Forum will be held on Saturday, September, 29 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Hotel Rouge.
