SER Progreso with SER
“SER Progreso,” a program created through the financial education partnership between SER-Jobs for Progress National, Inc. (SER National) and Chrysler Financial, aids Hispanic families in turning their financial dreams into reality. The launch of a “Financial Literacy E-Center,” a web site with content developed by Chrysler Financial in both English and Spanish, kicked off “SER Progreso” in April 2007. The program consists of 10 informational luncheons and five job fairs hosted at sites around the country that address the basics of using both Internet and computer technology as tools for managing personal finances and gaining new financial literacy knowledge. Finance experts from Chrysler Financial are also on-site during the events to share their insights, expertise and knowledge in personal finance matters.
